Yogis Uncovered | Meet Lacy
Meet Lacy, a free spirit balancing life as a tech project manager and OnlyFans model with her love for nature. In this Yogis Uncovered episode, Lacy shares her journey from conservative Mexico to LA, where she found freedom in yoga and van life. Embracing simplicity and authenticity, she celebrates the art of being unapologetically herself.
Hi, my name is Lacy. I’m originally from Mexico and I currently live in Los Angeles.
What was it like growing up in Mexico?
Growing up in Mexico was very different than it is in LA. People over there are pretty conservative. So when I moved to LA, it’s like a whole world opened up for me and people do all sorts of things, all sorts of jobs. [There are] very creative people out here. It felt like a stark contrast in a great way.
What do you do for work?
I’m a project manager and I’m an OnlyFans model. I work for a tech company and I manage tech projects.
How did you get into yoga?
I did ballet from age four to 19 and I always had a lot of body awareness and love doing things with my body. I didn’t really discover yoga until college. I took a couple of classes in college and I really liked it because ballet was very rigid and kind of perfectionistic. And then yoga was much more like going with the flow and feeling your body and just being in touch with your body.
Do you have a favorite pose?
I think child’s pose because it’s just so soothing and rejuvenating for me.
What do you do for fun and outside work?
I recently discovered van life and I really love doing van life. It’s so fun because I work remotely, so I get to just work during the day and then go on hikes in a new place every single day. I really enjoy doing van life and hiking and being outdoors.
How did you become so comfortable being naked in front of other people?
As I said earlier, I come from a very conservative city. So people are not okay with nudity at all, and it’s very taboo. I remember ever since I was little, even if you’re very innocent, if you’re three years old and walking outside naked, it was like, “no, no, no, put on clothes!”. So I think it was like a rebellious thing in the beginning [because] I was told all my life that I can’t be naked, so I just want to be naked. But then when I started doing it, it was just so liberating. I felt so much freedom doing it that I just kept doing it. And now I just love it.
And what is your favorite food?
I never know if I should answer that my favorite food is sushi or pasta. I can’t decide. I think if you asked me what I would eat every single day, it would be pasta. But if you asked me what I can’t live without, it’s sushi.
What’s your favorite self care practice?
I love water, so anything that involves water. Like if I’m at home, maybe taking a bath. But if I’m in nature doing something like a swim in a stream or something like that always gets me in a good mood.
